Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Laravel Developer for a full-time, hybrid/remote position based in Syria. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our existing web applications, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and developing new features and functionalities to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing web applications built using Laravel.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure high-quality code through peer reviews and adherence to coding standards.
• Work with version control systems (BitBucket) and task management tools (JIRA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience developing web applications using Laravel.
• Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel Framework.
• Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC, with experience using Passport.
• Strong back-end development skills, including expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Expertise in MySQL, database design, and SQL best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Bitbucket.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Nice To Have

• Strong UI design skills using of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Dockerization and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
